A PERSONAL WORD FROM NANCY BYRAM...
I receive encouraging reports wherever Our Hebrew Connection is taught. God is doing amazing things in the lives of those who are studying the Jewish Roots of Christianity. Sometimes, Messianic believers in Yeshua, who are in these classes, are amazed at how their view of their "Jewish Messianic connections" makes more sense after they take the class. As a result of our local church studying OHC off and on for the past 12 years, we have had Jewish people come into our fellowship. One Jewish gentleman shared with me that he felt more at home in our congregation than any place he had worshiped. Many in these classes, including teens who have been Christian for years ask, "Why haven't we heard this before??"
A true story: A gentleman came up to me after a class and told me about his young adult son who had just gone to work for an employer who was Jewish. The employer asked the young man, "Will you have a problem working for a Jew?" The young man replied, "No, I pray to one every morning." To hear these encouraging words give me hope that Christians will open up to the richness of the Jewish background of Jesus. I find myself wanting to ask, "If it was important to God, shouldn't we understand why?"
Dan Gruber in his book, "The Church and the Jews" writes, "In the first century, the most heated, controversial, doctrinal issue of all that the Church faced was, "How do the Gentiles fit into all this?" Acts 15. "Today, the most heated, controversial, doctrinal issue that the Church faces is 'How do the Jews fit into all this?'" There are Biblical answers to these questions and likely ones we've not heard before.
So, WELCOME! ...Stay tuned to this site! Peruse the Bible Study, Our Hebrew Connection; ask yourself when to share it with others. This study was purposely written in a style that is easily facilitated. On occasion, I will be writing articles that will give further insights about our Christian Hebrew connections. I invite you to 'blog' your ideas and experiences. As they say in Hebrew upon meeting and leaving: "Shalom."
Feel free to contact me at nancyohc@gmail.com. I would greatly appreciate hearing from you - especially if you like this website!!!

"OUR HEBREW CONNECTION" AUTHORS...
...Nancy Byram & Becky Preble, invite you to discover what thousands are discovering: that for the first time Christians are seeing what they never saw before! This is a journey that seeks to enrich one's Christian experience. The Jewish roots of our faith already belong to us. Once one has experienced OUR HEBREW CONNECTION, the "lens" through which they see their Christianity is never the same! Shalom in Yeshua!
AN IMPORTANT WORD ABOUT THIS BIBLE STUDY...
OUR HEBREW CONNECTION is a Biblically based Bible study. It is designed to enrich one's Christian heritage by understanding the Jewish roots of Jesus. The goal of this study is NOT to mimic a Jewish lifestyle but to understand Judiasm in the time of Jesus (Yeshua).
"The study draws one into the culture, land and political experience of Biblical Israel, bringing the scriptures alive with sensations, context and subtleties of the period. It transformed me from watching a black and white television to view a high definition home theater! The basic picture is the same, but what difference in the experience." Don Jones, Boerne, TX
